A FRIP FOR EDUCATION, teachers-in-training, workshop was held at The City School PECHS, under the tutelage of Rabia Naseem, on October 22, 2016. It was attended by 20 teachers employed at the school. It was a one day workshop.
The topics covered:
- Electrical injury
- Heat stroke.
The workshop ran for approximately four hours and included demonstrations at the end. The teachers were extremely responsive and overly enthusiastic to learn throughout the workshop. The presentation cleared MANY confusions of the participants as most of the teachers believed choking is relieved by inserting finger into the casualty’s mouth. They were grateful to learn the correct protocol. The school administration has also requested a session for the students at the end of this year.
Overall, the workshop was highly promising and executed smoothly.
